I am International Academic Coordinator at London College of Fashion, University of the Arts London. I’ve also been a lecturer in culture and communication, and, before that, an English Language tutor and writer of poetry and fiction in the small press.

The Creative Labour of Transcultural Intermediation

My PhD researches the interface between UK Art and Design Higher Education and creative labour in Mumbai and Shanghai. This includes exploring transnational networks of alumnae/i and academics, and seeks to help defend internationalised art and design higher education from the exploitative economic reductionism of ‘neoliberal Bohemianism’ by contributing to critical models of transparent, non-exploitative, collectively oriented creative practice.
